Mitch, their job is to churn the stock to get people to buy and/or sell.Often you can see a whole pattern develop and it will repeat in another stock. There are only so many workable patterns, but they know them all and employ them every day. They know for a good many, this is more of emotional experience than a chess game, and that's the way they play it. Wolves lurk in the woods and make money off the sheep that go to the slaughter along with pigs.
