Projectavision Retains Pryor Cashman Sherman & Flynn As New Litigation Counsel
NEW YORK, March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The company announced today that the New York State Appellate Division has reaffirmed its earlier decision confirming the disqualification of Anderson Kill & Olick as Projectavision's litigation counsel and authorizing the appointment of a receiver for certain purposes which remain to be determined in further hearings before a lower Court. In addition, the Court vacated its stay, permitting the action to now proceed.
Projectavision has retained the New York City law firm of Pryor Cashman Sherman & Flynn to replace Anderson Kill & Olick. Donald Zakarin, a partner at Pryor Cashman Sherman & Flynn, will handle the case as trial counsel on behalf of Projectavision. Zakarin stated that, "Now that the stay issued by the Appellate Division has been vacated, Projectavision intends to amend its counterclaims to assert additional claims against Eugene Dolgoff, Louis Tullo and their company, Floating Images, Inc." Zakarin also noted that, "It is Projectavision's further intention to seek certain provisional relief against Floating Images, which Projectavision believes is attempting to exploit technology which belongs to Projectavision, including seeking either an injunction or a receivership with respect to certain 3-D technology claimed by Floating Images."
