FYI:

Competition have been taken into account in both Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley's models long time ago. Both expect BRCM's shares in Cable modem and set-top box will decrease to some 60% yet both rank BRCM as the best positioned semi. firm right now; actually, both said they are conservative and there maybe substantial upside to their estimation.
