There are only two aspects of this report that come as any surprise to folks following this company..

1. April comps were better than analysts expected.

2. They are considering spinning off a portion of the Inet biz. ( Which may alleviate fears that Halpin plans to fund its growth solely from revenue from the stores.)

The rest has been very negativley spun. But every ounce was already expected. Going in i was looking for two things....the april comps and news on Direct.

Looks like a knee jerk reaction lower from the spin. Its funny that the baords (YHOO) are full of people looking for a turnaround between the time they preannounced and the actual posting of earnings. Go figure

People actually bought this stock in anticipation of better than expected earnings even tthough the company guided the analysts to -.05

Such is the nature of investors and traders. Looking to get lucky and add even more if we get to 6-6 1/4
