There is no reason to buy a LEAP unless you intend to hold to term. It's a pure a priori go
for it. Otherwise, you'd trade and go after 1 or 2 months out like the fool public. If you
must do options, you have to trade, if you have to trade, you have to buy in or deep-in the
money. At least the expected return isn't as horrendously bad as at or out of the money.
You might actually end up with something when they tear your cold dead fingers off the
option on Saturday morning following expiration. Deep-in means there'll be more time
before you inevitably get cleaned out.
