That's my understanding. Such a partnership would add real value to SAP's product offerings which have been suffering of late because of mixed reviews from early adaptors of S3, painful installation process and complex usage requiring extensive user training which hasn't always resulted in an overall + for the customer. This partnership should allow for an end to end solution with Aspect in the middle. Hopefully a new and improved S3. Leverages both the backoffice and front office spaces for ASPT. If SAP does it, competitors will probably follow. Some starting in the front office with ASPT again in the middle bridging front and back. ORCL is probably next. Why doesn't the company get the news out? After a big trade show like France, ones the customer makes the presentation shouldn't we be hearing about it here? Unless someone finds this on the internet, it isn't known for some time.
