ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 1999--Advanced Optics
Electronics Inc. (OTC BB:ADOT.O) announced Thursday that BioModa Inc.
has made the following announcement:
Albuquerque, N.M.--April 30, 1999--BioModa Inc. announced today
the election, at its annual shareholders meeting, the appointment of
Leslie Robins as a director of BioModa Inc. Robins is the executive
vice president of Advanced Optics Electronics Inc.
In addition, Robins brings to the BioModa board his experience
and knowledge gained from many years in the management and financing
of development stage companies.
"His expertise will be a valuable addition to our board," stated
Ari Ma'ayan, BioModa's president.
BioModa Inc. is a development stage company focused on the early
diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
Advanced Optics Electronics Inc. has recently filed its first
quarter 1999 10Q with the SEC. This reflects progress in its program
to bring the flat panel display to the marketplace.
The company has initiated discussions to acquire a substantial
minority interest in a privately held early-stage fiberoptics
switching company located in the Albuquerque area. If concluded, this
minority acquisition would create the nucleus of a separate fiberoptic
division for Advanced Optics Electronics Inc.

Advanced Optics Electronics Inc. (OTC BB:ADOT.O) is a developer of
patented electronic display technology. The initial product is being
marketed to users and owners of Outdoor Billboards as a total
replacement for static billboards. This is coupled with the ability to
change images from a remote location.
In addition to the core business of ADOT, the company has
identified and placed a strategic and high potential return investment
in BioModa Inc. BioModa Inc. is a company that holds patents and
patents pending domestically and internationally in the technology for
early detection of Lung Cancer. ADOT currently holds approximately
22 percent of BioModa Inc.
