<The Intel investment group has a huge annual budget earmarked solely for investment in companies spreading processor-intensive applications through the world. Speech recognition of course gulps tremendous CPU cycles. Numerous groups exist within Intel acting as pseudo VC firms with the sole purpose of spending their investment budgets. So the fact that they invested in L&H isn't too surprising. In a way, it's surprising that they HAVEN'T invested in GMGC. If GMGC gets to the stage where their NOCs are multiplying like crazy, I'm sure they'll draw Intel's attention.> They invested in Nuance. Microsoft recently invested in Dialogic. Regards, Mark
