Hey bp, good points. I'd like to add that it really cracks me up when I read articls that say that Rambus will not succeed because there is no software that can take advantage of the performance boost that Rambus delivers. What a crock of shit. I guess if Intel had listened to these naysayers, Intel never would have built faster processors, because hey, there was no software that could use the faster processors at the time. It amazes me how short sighted so many people are, even with the incredible advances in technology (hardware and software both) that we've seen in the last 10 to 20 years.
