"Caa-mon Sense Post Bout Yar GNET" or Why GNET is worth $250 bucks a share. I have a photo near my desk that I keep around because it is wild and pretty. There is another reason I have it. It reminds me to look closely a things like stocks and life. If you look at the photo it seems to be of a hundreds of bare aspen trees, you can see just a small amount of sky but it really is just trees, or so it seems. One tree is a giant, a couple feet wide but that is not what caught my attention when I took the photo. There are tracks left from a big boy bear going up that tree. I was in someone's home range. Something that is nice to know when the trees are thick. Stocks are the same way, let's look at GNET. I'll bid on each part of GNET as if it was an IPO and then Jed will bid. Since Jed is very fair and what he calls "prack-TA-cul", we will go with Jed if there is any difference in price what so ever.
Go2Net Personal: BLUE: This is a great personal page, to me better than MSNBC, etc. If it was an internet IPO it would fetch $45-75 bucks a share. I'll say $55. Jed: "Look har young fellar. $25 is da most I'll pay, I is a prack-TA-cul". Jed wins: The whole Go2net Personal for $25 bucks. Next Net Search: BLUE: Ever use a GNET search engine? $50-75 bucks a share easy as an IPO. Jed "I'll give ya $25." Jed wins: One of the best internet search engines for $25 bucks a share. Next Silicon Investor: BLUE: We all use SI for a reason. I use SI because it is the best site of its kind. There is nothing close. As an IPO, a red hot site like SI would bring $65-100 easy. The key to any YHOO is having a top rated PF site. Jed "Nope $25 is top doll-ler ta me. $25 not a penny more." Jed wins $25 bucks...... Now I could bore you to death to make a point but I'm busy today. So let's add them up............................ Go2net Personal: $25 Net Search: $25 Silicon Investor: $25 Playsite: $25 WebMarket: $25 HyperMart:$25 Haggle Auction:$25 100hotSites: $25 Meta Spy:$25 The Useless Pages$25 Paul Allen: $25 Paul Allen's Money: $25 GNET Labs, patents, licse., etc: $25 GNET Management: $25 14 X $25= $350, Like I said GNET is worth $250. And remember these were Jed's prices, not the FMV. Yer pal, BLUE |
