That's great! Introduce at 600 MHz, even if those parts won't be available until Thanksgiving! Why didn't I think of that?

It's the same song and dance. AMD could say in June, "Yeah, we have 600 MHz parts available," but they won't say when the average consumer can get his or her hands on one. Even reporters won't know; at least reporters knew when PC's with Whitney chipsets will be available to the public.
