R.W. & all...re the virus on Macs conversation...just want to share with you all that several PRINT PUBLICATIONS with which we do business...have been hit by virus' in the last couple of weeks. Likewise...2 video edit facilities have suffered from the "auto play worm" virus. In all cases...their Macs were rendered useless for a few hours until they ran virus programs. We run a small ad shop and exchange zip discs, etc, containing logos, layouts, storyboards, etc...and, while OUR Macs have yet to be hit...MANY others have. That's the bad news. The GOOD news is the Mac Virus apps are doing a good job. We have Norton Anti-Virus (used to be Symantec)...and have it programmed to automatically scan for virus every Friday at 1 PM. So far, so good. Just didn't want R.W. to think that Macs are immune. The horror stories we're hearing about PCs & virus are HORRIBLE.

R.W....let us know what kind of Mac you buy. The new G3's are absolute KILLERS! Best regards, Ralph
