I'm starting to wonder if the coal stoker has left the train.

Matt ---

You're point's well taken, but with a volatile stock like this, there are many chances to get in and out and in the process average down. I leave 2/3 of my position untouched and with the other third sell the peaks and buy the dips. I wouldn't call it a trading stock as the time between highs and lows can be months.

As for coal stokers, I believe there will be some changes in the ranks. Now, if I were boss of the universe, I'd promote Alan to CEO and bring in a new COO and head of operations. And while I was at it I'd call K. Cyrus Hadavi, CEO of a private company Paragon Management Systems, and arrange a consultation. This company has supply chain optimization solutions already used by Lucent, Nortel, Philips, and many others. I heard their presentation at the recent H&Q conference and thought then it was a perfect fit for NN. Since 1994 the company's had 200% CAGR. SAP is one of their partners. (website: paragonms.com. )

Idle thoughts while waiting for the smoke to clear. . .
