Rhino, I agree with your statement on T's intent. My point is that T can not just start routing phone calls through cable. The cable infrastructure has to be upgraded to handle two-way traffic, new routers have to be designed and installed, and fiber has to be run to the last mile, which is very expensive and not something you can do overnight. So what I find interesting is not that evryone is so high on the potential of cable, but how premature everyone is, thinking that this will happen overnight and that AOL is suddenly out of it.
