IMHO, It is ridiculous and irrational to expect Business Wire (or any other wire for that matter) to provide comprehensive verification/investigation services to validate the authenticity and truthfulness of every single press releases sent through their wire.
The average Joe reads fraudulent press releases and doesn't deem them to be fraudulent at first glance, so why on earth is Business Wire supposed to have special powers for discerning truth vrs. lies??

So does that mean you'd think it would be a good idea for BW to start putting a disclaimer at the bottom of each PR? Something along the lines of BW has not independently verified the accuracy of this release and is not responsible for it's content?
