ABOV - IMO if it goes down to 80 today... it will be due to complete internet sector breakdown... meaning I'm bullish on the stock. The 80 stop is only an intermediate stop for me... in case something happens to my ADSL connection like it did before. Yesterday I adjusted my stops in ABOV 3 times... I may do it again today but I doubt it, unless of course it runs up to 90 then I'll move it up to 85. One thing I did not share is that I normally don't install stops before 10 EST or for us in the right coast 7 AM... the opening is so volatile that I just rely on my trigger finger... I almost pulled it when ABOV went to 79 this morning but I held for another point... so here I am.

Hope that helps... caveat, it works for me since I had a lobotomy before <VBG>. I can be maddeningly unpredicatable... "I swear Officer, I'm just driving to the flow of the traffic... everyone's doing 100 and I did 99".

Trading around split time... no clue really, stock action totally depends on market condition... recent splits that immediately failed were EGRP and AMTD... they recovered after a while as you can see... I think if you get a sampling of net companies that split in the past 6 months you'll find that they're not immune to the vagaries of this crazy market... however, if the market is rosy, they tend to accelerate much faster...
