Jan,

I think they are protecting their backsides, and getting a stroger toehold in core technologies. But they are dreaming too. I will be surprised if msft doesn't do some dramatic maneuvering with one or more of our favorite nets. I think they would have already but are handcuffed. they HAVE to get out from the lawsuit and be better citizens. Time is critical.
