"What is funny is the guy on CNBC named Steve Frank brought up question like "Will AT&T like Microsoft software more than SUN's because of the deal?" and MA said "NO". These guys on CNBC would take every chance to promote MSFT and damage SUNW. I wish there is another
cable channel to watch!"

As an investor, this is certainly one of the questions I had in my mind. Therefore, I think it was a great question and the answer was especially positive for SUNW investors. He said JAVA has not yet delivered but AT&T is open to working with MSFT, SUNW or any other company that bring them innovative technology. IMO, this MSFT investment, is a non-issue to SUNW.

IMO AT&T made this offer to MSFT to strengthen its balance sheet. Who else can make a 5 billion dollar investment; not many. If Ballmer/Gates think that AT&T is a good investment, it probably is.
