Jaffo,

Have gone back and re-read....
Kind of feel like a butt-head...
We need guys like you.....you know, normal, fairly well adjusted, to keep us somewhat objective. Please stick around.

With 3000 shares....I kinda figure you will.
In fact, I welcome you into the Commission......
We are planing a get-together in Cabo San Lucas next January when IDX is over 30.......We will golf, drink, smoke cigars, and shop.
I'm keeping track......38 or so members now.

One of our members took a tour of the IDX Sunnyvale site about two months ago......Ed Murrer (45 yrs old approx)...The new VP of sales spent about an hour with him. Says the plant and offices were plain...not alot of shareholder money spent on lavish furniture. People were very friendly, kind of a" loosen your tie " attitude. Introduced to several other managers....Randy Fowler CEO wasn't there, but if he had...would have been introduced.......Saw componant testing area with 20 or so folks at stations in cap and gown....looked like they were putting together Touchprint 600s. Said HP printers were stacked up all over the place.....said they got a really good deal on them. (They were in the process of moving to 2nd building during visit).
Did say phones were ringing alot and that Ed said he was doing 10 hour days. Our guy thought Ed was very bright and was able to answer many prepared questions.

Overall, he felt a little disapointed that IDX didn't look more high-Tech or lavish.....and that he didn't see machines flying out the back door.
Said he saw one semi about half loaded!

Anyhow...Our visiting member is a doctor (micro-surg), and he buys $800 arm chairs, so what the heck....He did say that he felt welcome and that everyone seemed to know what they were doing.

Any Commission member who has the chance to do a visit......must report!

Get a few of those glass-cased cigars, Jaffo.......Think we are going to need them!

bg

PS>Japan contract is like 1200 $35,000 machines to whoever gets it.
Been going on for two years now....IDX has bid with 3 , maybe 4 of the 6 bidders. It would be sweet to get that one.......
