Harken's Headquarters Relocated to Houston

DALLAS, May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Harken Energy Corporation (Amex: HEC) announced today that it will
move its corporate headquarters from Dallas to Houston, Texas effective May 10, 1999. The new Harken
office in Houston combines the Company's corporate headquarters with its international exploration and
production office which has been located in Houston since 1990. The consolidation of offices should
eliminate a number of duplicated costs and allow for more efficient operations. Harken's new facility is
