I agree. It was a prank, a marvelously illustrative prank. At worst, they deserve a scolding.

My knowledge of the law is necessarily limited, but it does appear that they were very careful to avoid the obvious pitfalls as well as to avoid causing any "investor" harm. BW is trashing its own credibility as a provider of news in order to strike back for embarrassment.
