I signed up for the lowest price subscription: 256k bps.

However, it is a RADSL(rate adaptive DSL) and my understanding is that it could be higher or lower depending on the overall traffic. My bet is that, for the next 12 months, it will be on the more favorable side for me since there is not that many people signing up for the high speed access. I'll know more as time goes on.

In the installation fiasco, I did find out that there is "round trip speed" test which may be an indication of the access speed. If anyone knows for sure, I would appreciate a reply.
