I still believe that $8 is what we will see in the next several trading days. However after some of my own DD on CY, I have come to the conclusion that $25 by the end of this summer is very likely.
Check out smartmoney.com and look at Broadvision. BVSN trades at $45 and has been Upgraded to a Strong Buy and has a target of $75 according to many analysts. These guys do something very similar to CY, which is to personalize the Web Page and the Ads to the individual user. That is their main technology driving their "ecommerce solutions" to many of its customers/partners. These include Sun, HP, American Airlines and......heyyyy........wait a minute......Cisco, Nixdorf of Germany and Telus of Canada. How interesting! If BVSN can trade at $45 with a target of $75 on Nasdaq with approx 25 mill shares outstanding and under $.50 EPS next year, why can CY not trade at $25 in the coming few months? They had a loss of approx CD$0.06 loss in '98 and also have that association with Telus which is very curious. They have the same technology and are trading at a ridiculously low multiple in comparison to its peers.
Their challenge right now is to make themselves known to the investing public and also to the potential customers of 3Web. All of us shareholders must sit tight and not sell because the risk/reward ratio makes it stupid to sell. I think any drops in price should be considered as an opportunity to buy more, not to panic and sell.
