To Smart Investor - Get Serious!

I hope you're right that aol will run up again tomorrow. However, if it does, it certainly will not be because of a general consensus that T will not be able to monopolize cable. If there is one thing i am willing to bet the farm on it is the fact that no such realization will occur tomorrow. Furthermore, the momentum right now is with T due to an army of investors who have very little understanding of the cable vs. telephone only argument. They have even less understnding as to what options are available to aol to compete with T. There is this naive consensus right now that broadband is only available through cable and T has cable sewed up. What a joke!! In the meantime the fortunes of aol investors will be subjected to a general ignorance of the investing majority who in the final analysis don't have a clue as to what this market is all about and what impact each competing technology may have.
