thnak you both for the replies...it is clear as mud...no insult intended - I am just a little old country lawyer...i am not sure i understand the difference between database appliance and ntap's "appliance". I will accept your expertise with respect to the lack of overlap in the product and its function...I think i get that. Anyway this was my first post..it was fun and I am now more confident that NTAP is a good investment with a chance to dominate it's market and grow from here
