That should be the kind of story that a vigilant business press in Calgary should do an expose on. Such a story given sufficient distribution would place a supposed major in an untenable public relations position. Some muck racking reporter could have a great story. Similarly, the inability to schedule a prompt hearing on the stepout well is also a disgrace to government agencies. The "unavailability" of the objector and then the long time for a reschedule is a sad commentary. Again - a vigilant free press should be able to have a field day. It is hard for me to imagine how a locality whose main source of income is the oil industry can reasonably behave in this manner. Bob
