everyone involved just shake hands and move on.

I'll tell you a little story. Not that you'll read it, since you obviously don't read my posts.

Once upon a time, my little sister was walking to school. She happened to walk past this bully. The bully for some reason decided that he needed to hassle my sister.

So he did.

The next time she walked to school, I went with her. The bully decided to hassle me. Broken bones were involved. I didn't like it.

Then, the bully decided to hassle some other people. I tried to get him to understand that if we just were friends, we could just shake hands and move on.

But he wasn't having any of it. For some odd reason, and I'm just thinking out loud here, he didn't seem to think that anyone could stop him from being a bully, and he saw no reason to stop and shake hands. He seemed to think that he could do whatever he wanted. In fact, I think maybe he believed it very strongly.

So I went home, got my Louisville Slugger, and I waited till he wasn't looking, and then I filed my countersuit. It was good.

And he never bothered me again. Or my sister.

But that was a different planet.

What planet are you on?
