I am not generalizing about sitcoms, Christopher! The only point I have been trying to make is that you cannot generalize about AMERICANS as a whole on the basis of the sitcoms SOME of them watch! Geez.... For that matter, I think you might find that only a minority, if a large minority, watch sitcoms on a regular basis. The others watch sports events, the news, police shows, MTV, whatever. Wanna bet? Joan
