Dear Mr. Tremblay:
I am in receipt of your feverish inquiry, and am also informed by raquel of your numerous telephone conversations.
First of all let me explain that we are trying to establish our company in the herbal supplements business using only small steps first to ensure that things are done correctly the first time and not fixed later. However, many of those "friends" of the company such are yourself, are bent on trying to show us how to run our business. We are not presently in need of any more assistance in doing what we need to do and the best way possible with the present operating team of managers, web designers, graphics etc....
I will attempt to answer the questions on your last fax communication but please keep in mind that we are way too busy at this juncture to provide you with answers to your many questions daily. Raquel needs more time to do her work that pertains to our audit which is now in process, but is presently spending much more time than she should attending calls from people that only want to make suggestions on how we can do our work "better", and again although suggestions are welcome as they can serve to improve certain aspects of our operation we can not have so many calls from people trying to run the company for us. Please understand our position.
Answers:
1) our current float is about 40 million shares with the balance of our outstanding in the control of my father, the CEO, who does not sell.
2)the site is fully functional, we are recieving orders daily, however, the process and fulfillment of all initial orders will begin to ship the last week of this month, no more than 4 weeks from the time that they were recieved, with the exeption of special request orders that we have already begun shipping. We expect to cut this time factor in half by mid-Summer. As for your order, the hard copy was not recieved until last week, it appears that you tryed to enter an order in the first week after the official launching, the orders during that time period became lost in system when we switched servers to Hostpro due to erroneous e-mail control settings. Our previous server is responsible for this but there is not much that can be done exept follow-up by taking the claimed lost orders on the telephone or again using electronic mail. Your order is in house dated friday, April 23, 1999.
3) Our prices, apples for apples, are among the best on the market, if you see lower prices anywhere, check the content and quality as I can assure you that ours are as competative as they come. This fact is proven by the amount of orders that are being received daily. The only exception may be on some of the Una de Gato where there are all kinds of new companies popping up to sell this product and many comes from small labs in Peru that are not worried about quality, pureness and expirations.
4) We decided to pull those two databases temporarily until their extensive catalogs have been completed, we had only projected launching with the products that are there now and so did. These two other databased catalogs will be completed and added to the site one at a time starting September or October. ( this is not a promise and should not be miscontrued as such)
5) The site is presently being hosted by HOSTPRO on a secure socket layer (SSL), the layer is not yet funcional because our designers created our shopping cart using a new program ( top of the line) called Cold Fusion, HOSTPRO is working daily with our web designers to encrypt this new cart to the SSL and they are having some hardware difficulties that may yet take some time to correct. The security function will be added as soon as these problems are corrected which should be soon. I am as frustrated as anyone that this has not happened yet as promised to us as I am sure that our orders will increase four or five fold when this happens. I have held up our advertising and promotional work until the problem has been fixed.
6) Wholesale will only take place initially in other countries. The lab is already shipping product to Bogota, Colombia and Manaus, Brazil, some bulk product has been shipped to Poland and Germany as well.
7) Status of land sale: we are entertaining and negotiating with prospective buyers through Keyes Realty but CANNOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION FOR NOW on this matter.
8) Yes, we are hiring two more people over the course of the next 2-3 weeks taht will handle this feature effectively.
