I have read the few responses on this and any of what I have heard from friends is that this guy is a long-time acquaintance to the Penny's and WSTL some time ago when the company was private. Not an IPO type or for-sale type, but maybe a take 'em private type? I dunno. He just has a long history with the Penny's and they wanted that due to Hawrycz's quick exit. As for new blood, Hawrycz worked there a long time 5?,10?years, this guy hasn't. So that is new blood, I guess.
