bob, thank you for the very thorough post. i have followed for EMC TOO long. i should have bought in months ago, but i also feel that EMC has a ways to go. they are an aggressive but yet realistic company. they are going to continue to set the standard in storage. has anyone mentioned that maybe HP went with hitachi because they were cheaper? well, you get what you pay for ... i'm sure HP will get its "money's" worth! michael
