Dave,

Farming out interests in projects is a regular way of life with the microcap companies. The name of the game is not putting too many of your eggs in one basket. So instead of drilling a coupla wells all by yourself, you participate in a lot of wells, but for a smaller % of each one.

In this case PQUE has no choice about the matter since they are broke and have tapped out their line of credit.

They may "sell down" a portion of their interests instead of farming them out. This means that they would just sell an interest in the well for a flat amount.
