Armin,

I share some of your concerns too.

I believe the Tim Donaldson departure was directly related to the Sequent cancellation. As the point man with regard to strategic marketing he would be responsible for whatever reason(s) for what he could've or should've done. With regard to personnel decisions information regarding departures is rarely made public.

I've questioned the timing of their releases too. As I posted earlier, it'll be interesting to see how Ancor's management handles the timing of their future press releases with regard to Brocade's expected announcements. I also have a problem with Ancor having the same company to prepare their press releases. Although most of the releases are fairly generic in nature anyways. At least they don't share the same advertising company.

I was stunned too regarding the charges associated with Sequent. It did leave a bad taste in my mouth. I was more concerned with the amount of the charges, I didn't realize they shipped that much product.

With the price of the stock so low future financing may come in the form of private placement from outside sources. Someone who believes in the future of FC, but more importantly, Ancor. I'm hoping it would be someone quite successful, high profile, which would give the stock price a jumpstart.

Without any positive news from Ancor I would not be surprised to see this stock trade down to the low $5 range if Brocade makes any major announcements in contracts in markets they are competing with Ancor.
I am not strong in the technical side of predicting stock movements. Any analysis in this regard would be appreciated.

I would not try to short this stock at these levels in anticipation of this happening. One or two major contracts would legitimize Ancor's ability to seal large deals. It is up to Ancor's management to build back the strength in the stock price. The spotlight is on them.

IMHO
