Is this a forum where just for the hell of it I could join in and write an extemporaneous piece of shit poem and post it - just for fun? or should I have to be embarrassed because I might have had a beer or more, and some supposedly erudite self-styled poet will have a self-sense that requires denigration for its personality ascendency? I wouldn't ask, except I post under my own name, and I don't know how to go back to anonymity. Just as a warning, I don't know anything about poetry either, but I am willing to try and to type. Although I haven't read this thread in detail, it seems as if most poems have not been authored by the poster. Is this a thread for posting poems that you like, or for making poems, whether or not the poems have merit?
