What concerns me is this massive sell today from CC. I personally think that this will be a buying opportunity in the days to come, but, honestly, lately, I just feel Mining stocks are worthless, till they have .COM after there name. If it was Donner.Com selling nickel or whatever on the internet I bet this stock be at $1 or $2.
This interet hype for some companies are well founded and they will do well in the future, but, this reminds me of 4-5 years ago when the mining companies had it so good and then many went bust. This is just a new way of making money from novice investors. I saw it before (made and lost, learned alot though) and it's happening again with internet stocks, I'm just worried that people are going to lose out on artifical hype. Remember the good old days finding 2% on a 10m core would rocket the stock. Not anymore, say that you plan to open a internet site, and hello Bang.
I think Donner is a keeper, can't go wrong with this price. But, I think I will wait a while before I vend in. But, I don't think Mining is totaly out of the question. I just think I'll wait till these stock get to ridiculous levels and then buy in and wait, while I wait I play with the internet stocks. For those who may want a good internet play check out on the VSE:SCS, CC is promoting it and one of the members of Bid.Com is on the board. This I think is a half decent play compared to others. I will not even bother mentioning them.
But, anyways I agree with you Donner has crediblity and I think they are more of a solid play, just going to take patience.
