Sorry for not responding sooner. I bought PLCE because I was interested in the retail sector and I went through all the stocks and compared the growth rates, evaluation from IBD, and increases in analyst revision of earnings. I get a newsletter that ranks many companies and PLCE was showing very promising. Sales growth was very high and EPS comparisons were much higher than others I evaluated. I felt the PE was also reasonable considering it growth, which to me told me that this company was not being widely followed (meaning better appreciation potential). Finally, I usually try to buy as it rises from a correction in anticipation of a new breakout in price. Sometime it works sometimes not. In this case I did very well because it did just that and held while many others I bought into failed. That's about all I have. Oh, one negative was the posts from way back where PLCE ran into some troubles, and that it is a small cap, sometimes unreliable. Not sure yet how long I will hold since it's moved quite a bit already.
