There will be plenty of negatives from the Baby Bells and ISP's, but don't they wish they could have conceived such a magnificent deal. Amazing, they want their markets tightly closed to competition, but cry like hell when someone makes an end run for a touchdown. Gates was wise enough to cut a slice for Mi cross oft rather than fight it. Now if Case could comprehend the potential benefits for AOL and jump in it would enhance the outcome.

Getting Fed approval will not be simple, and I would expect there may have to be some concessions and changes from the initial proposal, but Armstrong is more than capable of completion to a favorable conclusion.
