Pat, Now, if I were boss of the universe, I'd promote Alan to CEO What are you talking about? Promote Lutz to CEO! WHY?!?! I absolutely agree he's a great manager BUT he has screwed up. You can't possibly blame TM (the guy you replaced) for this as he turned over day to day operations to Lutz last year (true its his old mess but what was Lutz for!). The fact that Lutz was spouting that NN would meet forecasts only last week shows just where the blame should be (I do believe others let him down but since I don't know them I'll blame Alan). Its usually the President (compaq excluded) who gets the boot on sorry messups like this although I don't think its warranted here (maybe a slap to the back of the head but certainly not fired). I Think this a major mess. It'll be fixed I have faith in Lutz to pull things together. But I'm Glad you aren't in charge of the Universe. (As I'm sure TM is aswell) I do however agree that the consultants you mentioned could be very usefull over the next few (I hope only a few) months. They pointed out(at the website) how easy it is to implement their system quite quickly I hope it goes this well for NN. Cheers Rhys
