It would be better if they exercised an equal/higher degree of scrutiny towards the existing brokerage houses. They have been 'regulating' the paved road firms for decades, and they are still rife with fraud. XREF.. sec.gov ..cases..Perhaps they feel they have found an easier mark with the new kids on the net, rather than the good old boy/girl (EOB) group. But, having said that, I am definitely in favor of cleaning up the securities markets in total. Best, Savant
