Here's the latest news from briefing.com which is putting pressure on IDTI today: COMPUTER CHIPS STOCKS: Issues could be under pressure today as the Semiconductor Industry Association has revised its sales growth outlook for sector from a previous growth of 26% this year to 6.7%. According to the association, global chip sales fell 4.6% in the first quarter. And while the industry group expects global chip growth to resume its double-digit pace in 1997, latest news by the industry group will likely weigh on chip stocks like Micron Technology (MU 32 3/8 -5/8), last year's high flyer maker of DRAM chips. Do you have any sense of how IDTI's recent acquisition may affect EPS? I went long on the dip today. Patience may pay off, but it sure is difficult being patient when AMTX, IMPX and others are going through the roof!
