With at least 8 regional brokerage firms and one of the foremost Investment Banking firms , Nations Bank- Montgomery Scott reporting on and counseling Analytical Surveys it is doubtful that anonimity is the problem. One need just go back over the past 18 month trading history to see the volume and price range to deduce that.

In elementary school it was and still is taught that 2 + 2 = 4. In ANLT's case a massive percentage of issued and outstanding stock is locked up in the hands of Insiders and Institutional holders. At last count I believe the public record showed that combined figure to be at least 70%. Now add to that some 25% of the stock borrowed to cover the outstanding short sales and you have a stock that holds little appeal to outside investors of substance. Because the short position is so large in relation to shares outstanding and the rest of the stock tighly held, many of these shorts have to be protected by some assured source of supply to cover their tales. ie: Short Sales against the box. It has been reported by some individuals that a number of on-line brokerage firms will not accept regular short sales. I have not made an attempt to verify that. If it is true and the shorts are truly vulnerable it would not take that much of an effort by market forces to engage in a classic "short Squeeze." The absence of such market activity leads me to believe that some of these institutions may be hedge funds playing both sides of the street or a group of astute stock traders.

One thing most of in this stock for the really long haul has to get used to is that the general market as yet has not recognized the growth potential for the industry let alone for jumping on the ANLT bandwagon. Until the Company demonstrates that Q1 was not an abberation and at least two more successive quarters of positive cash flow production is realized we could be locked in to a relatively narrow trading range where long term investors will be able to take advantage of dips to establish or add to their positions.
