I tend to favor staying the course w/ the Atlas:

1. BLS said that there'd be a three month delay to switch to Ariane. I strongly suspect that does not include export license delays which could add substantially more time.

2. In the end, the French are also capable of botching launches, so we could have a long delay, and then a failure anyway.

3. I expect Loral has largely paid for the A3, and it's not clear what escape clause it could exercise to walk away from it

Just how "new" is this A3 anyway?
