I don't agree - in fact I think the British move may not be popular with many CBs - this is where I have difficulty with one aspect of the conspiracy theories - why would CBs shoot themselves in the foot by devaluing a primary reserve asset? They may not want the POG to run away but I can't think they want it to melt away either. dd
