Arthur Robinson, formerly Linus Pauling's protege at Caltech and director of the Pauling Institute (before breaking with Pauling over the vitamin C issue), has been collecting these examples of junk science for years. He writes a newsletter called Access to Energy (Box 1250, Cave Junction, Oregon 97523), which lists abundant sources in scientific publications relating to all these issues. Also useful is Howard Hayden's The Energy Advocate, P.O. Box 542, Storrs, CT 06268-0542. J. Gordon Edwards is at San Jose State. Bruce Ames is at the University of California at Berkeley. I just skimmed the surface of a huge trove of scientific material discrediting the global warming and related zero sum fears and fancies.
