Ken - probably the technies in this thread are laughing at both of us <sg>! But the more important thing is to realize that the call server is an extension of the current telephony environment to data packeting without prohibitive retooling. Considering the cost of the builtout and recent M&A activities, ILEC and long distance carriers like AT&T will want to get the best bang for their buck. This is especially favorable since it interfaces with SS7, which is another hot item [CSCO just bought a SS7 shop and ASND bought Stratus for the latter's SS7 technologies.] Interestingly, NT's SS7 is quite an unsung hero! best, Bosco
