Al, the price of orange juice is Florida does jump in a freeze. But not necessarily the price of wallboard in a tornado.

In past disaster recovery periods (East Coast hurricanes), HD has been very sensitive to perceptions of price gauging. In fact, it had lowered the price of wallboard in disaster areas. Good marketing. That's how they get consumer loyalty.

I'd look for HD profits to continue to rise, but not because they decide to jack up wallboard prices.
