I thought I knew something about the market in '97 & '98 from on-line gurus and gods. The as I became more cognitive of the BS I started doubting why I was being taught wrong but the final blast that open my eyes was when I became the IR for Midland. That was a real eye opener plus the information that flowed to me. Then co-operating fully with the SEC taught me even more. Not to mention going before the SEC and paying an attorney which was a total waste of money but hey better safe than sorry. Now when certain people tell me stuff and I read all this BS on line I know better and realize their are those that sound just like I did when I first got started. Can you change the natural course of one's education or wisdom? Nope just have to let people do what they got to do. The unnamed truth and realization to the truth always surfaces. There are not many but a few people that have been falsely convicted of emotional witch-hunting innuendoes ... what is sad is it takes years to discover. One reason I allowed the WSJ to do that article and gave them the supporting documentation was because all someone needs is a computer and only the mental capacity to push the keys to be someone. But I wanted EVERYONE to see what can happen to you if you are not careful. Meanwhile, the real crooks get away plus they stole enough money to defend themselves ... As the internet grows and people get more and more savvy the real evil will be easy to spot and expose. Just going to take sometime. Just like getting an education or wisdom. Funny how both go hand in hand ... especially when it cost you more than if you went to college. :-) GB
