Graphix Zone Continues Acquisitions With Purchase of Trimark
Interactive Assets
"Magzone" and "Faery Tale Adventure 2" Lead Projects Acquired by Graphix Zone
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 6, 1997--Graphix Zone (NASDAQ/GZON), a leading independent
entertainment and interactive music publisher announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to
acquire certain assets of Trimark Interactive, a subsidiary of Trimark Holdings, Inc. (TMRK - NASDAQ/NNM).
Among the assets are the highly anticipated new games Faery Tale Adventures 2 and Magzone, and library titles
including the highly rated game, The Hive.
"The acquisition of these high-quality gaming titles from Trimark Interactive will help position Graphix Zone
solidly in the gaming marketplace in 1997," stated Ron Posner, chairman of Graphix Zone. "The Trimark deal and
the Inscape acquisition last week mark the type of consolidation effort that will enable companies to achieve success
in this extremely competitive marketplace."

The acquisition of Trimark Interactive gaming titles marks a continuation of Graphix Zone's drive to expand its
games business, begun when Graphix Zone acquired Inscape, (a partnership between HBO, Warner Music Group
and Nash New Media), last week. Inscape will exist as Graphix Zone's premier game imprint. Gaming titles
acquired in the Inscape deal include the upcoming Tales From the Crypt, HyperWar, Ground Effect and KGB
Files.
Trimark Holdings, Inc. is a broad-based entertainment company which acquires, produces and distributes motion
pictures domestically and internationally under the Trimark Pictures banner; licenses to the broadcast industry under
the Trimark Television moniker; to the domestic home video market under the Vidmark Entertainment label.
Based in Irvine, California, Graphix Zone, Inc. publishes interactive multimedia products on CD-ROM, hybrid and
Internet platforms and will publish on future platforms such as DVD. Graphix Zone will publish interactive
