I disagree, if a stock is hitting new highs, what is going to stop it from continuing. You keep averaging up and if the stock starts to tank, make sure you escape without a loss. Example, a friend started buying CTN at 7. He bought again at 10,20,30,40,50. Since end of last year, it has tanked to below 3 at one point. He got out at 40. His final profit was still huge compared to him taking profits from his first investment.
