Options: Is this common in comm technology guys? Hi Michelle, I'm having trouble finding out exactly what the infra employees were offered option wise when they joined Q. As you know - the option grant letter is explicit regarding the treatment of options should the company or division be sold. I understand that the issue with the infra people is that they have missed out on a recent grant that they were promised. The practise implied, that extant options are transferred/converted to the acquiring company, is absolutely not standard practise in the SD area where competition for engineers is fierce.
